NEW YORK: July 8, 2008 -- Peter Hess has joined Buck Consultants as a Principal in the firm's Pittsburgh office.

With more than 30 years of experience, Hess joins Buck from Aon Consulting where he served as Senior Health and Welfare Consultant. Hess' expertise includes health and welfare benefits strategy, design, funding, administration and communication.

His client projects have included health care cost containment, disability plan integration and comprehensive wellness programs.

He received his bachelor's degree from Duquesne University and has completed industry course work sponsored by the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists (CEBS), Life Office Management Association (LOMA) and Health Insurance Association of America (HIAA).
