It Takes A Leader Integrating Values into the Workplace, One Skill at a Time

Values are just words on paper; to make them a reality, it takes leadership. Today's organizations must cultivate leaders at all levels that have the knowledge, skills, and motivation to make values a part of the workplace culture – a standard by which everyone operates and aligns their behavior. In this webcast, you’ll gain insight into the steps involved in building a values-based culture, and you’ll learn the few specific skills and behaviors your leaders must be able to demonstrate to make the values a reality.
With a wide range of challenging behavioral issues – from harassment to bullying to exclusion – creating problems in the workplace, many organizations are realizing that legal requirements can only address a small segment of the concerns that arise on a daily basis. Organizational values, on the other hand, are more effective in addressing the full spectrum of issues that can damage teamwork and productivity, interfere with results, and open the door to risk. However, while many organizations have values in place, they haven’t given their leaders the skills and tools they need to integrate the values into daily operations and the workplace culture. This webcast will introduce the process necessary for developing a values-driven culture and the skills leaders at all levels need to be able to credibly communicate and demonstrate the behaviors behind the values. Participants will take away an outline of the specific competencies that will help leaders foster an ethical, respectful, and values-based work environment throughout the enterprise.
