IHRIM Accepting Presentation and Workshop Proposals for its HRMStrategies 2009 San Diego Conference

If so, the International Association for Human Resources Information Management (IHRIM) invites you to submit presentation or workshop proposals for HRMStrategies 2009, its annual HR information and technology conference. The entry deadline is August 11, 2008.

If so, the International Association for Human Resources Information Management (IHRIM) invites you to submit presentation or workshop proposals for HRMStrategies 2009, its annual HR information and technology conference. The entry deadline is August 11, 2008.

Held April 19-22, 2009 at the Manchester Grant Hyatt in San Diego, Calif., IHRIM’s 29th conference will offer educational programs, half-day and full-day seminars. This is the premier opportunity for you to reach senior and novice HR and information management practitioners.

IHRIM is seeking qualified persons to speak on topics relative to the following knowledge areas:
•       HR Technology Strategy Development and Alignment with the Business – Teach attendees how to better design and deploy HR technology and service delivery models for the enterprise.
•       New Ways of Working - Explain how HR systems work will be done in the future, or how emerging information technologies for communication, collaboration and content management are changing the way we work in HR.
•       HR Technology and Business Processes – Share technologies and processes that support HR service delivery and the ongoing operations needed to successfully meet an organization's HR technology strategy.
•       Nuts and Bolts - Assessments, Implementations and Upgrades – Showcase HR delivery solutions assessments, implementation and upgrade methodologies. This should include best practices and tools needed to keep plans on track and improve odds of success.
•       Professional Development - Help HR information management professionals acquire new skills and update their professional “toolkit.”

IHRIM will review and evaluate proposals based on: overall quality (focus and content); topic uniqueness or innovation; practical application to the HR information management profession; and the timeliness of the topic. Selected speakers will be notified by September 19, 2008.
