Human Resources: Creating a Dynamic Employee Portal – Hershey Entertainment and Resorts’ “Sweet Success”

Hershey Entertainment & Resorts (HE&R) had a vision to create a portal that would affect a true cultural change in the way they communicate with their 7,500+ employees. This session will describe how HE&R partnered with Enwisen to build the MyPATH (Personal Access to Hershey) Employee Portal – a dynamic, easily accessible and easy-to-use resource where members of the workforce can now go, on a daily basis, from work or home, to get the information they need – when they need it – to manage all of their work and life events.

Learn how HE&R leveraged “hire-to-retire” communications and decision support solutions that were personalized and searchable, allowing employees to see only the information that is relevant to them. Also discussed will be how the communications applications were fully integrated with HE&R’s ESS and eBenefits software – helping employees perform all of their work/life events, such as benefits enrollment, in a single session because relevant information and decision support tools are presented in context to the transactions within MyPATH.

The session will also address the advantages of on-demand, web-based communications, facilitating the ability for HE&R’s employees – many of whom work “on location” at the company’s hotels and theme parks – to access MyPATH at employee computer centers at their property or at home, 24/7.
