Human Resources: Bruce Spiegel Joins Buck Consultants as Principal

NEW YORK: Jan. 26, 2009 – Bruce Spiegel has joined Buck Consultants as Principal and leader of the firm’s Global Survey Resources.

Spiegel is a leading compensation expert with more than 30 years in HR consulting and outsourcing. He has provided consulting advice in a wide range of industry settings and in the full spectrum of compensation specialties. He also has been a leader in the innovative integration of technology and data to support compensation decisions and advice.

He joins Buck from Remedy Compensation Consulting where he served as Senior Leader of its Survey Practice and oversaw Remedy’s annual and custom survey production. Prior to that, he was Managing Director at Innovacomp, Managing Principal at Workscape, and VP Global Compensation Services with ACS where he managed its Global Compensation Services Center of Excellence. His past consulting experience also includes leadership positions with Aon Consulting, Mercer, Towers Perrin, and Hay Group.

Spiegel received his MBA in international business from Roosevelt University (Illinois) and his bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Clarkson University (New York). He is a member of WorldatWork and received the organization’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2000.
