Are You Up-To-Date with the Latest Veteran Changes?

If your organization has contracts or subcontracts with the federal government, to maintain those contracts, your organization is required to keep up-to-date with the regulatory requirements for veterans. Annual reports are required to be filed to the Veterans Employment and Training Services (VETS) and you are required to proactively recruit qualified veterans for employment at your facilities.

As recruiters and HR professionals, you are tasked with keeping up-to-date with regulatory changes that impact your employment decisions.  If you are required to prepare Affirmative Action Programs (AAPs) for veterans and fall short of the regulatory requirements, your organization could lose its current federal contracts and/or subcontracts and be barred from future contracts.

In our presentation we will discuss the latest developments with regard to veterans in the workplace and give you tips to help you keep your organization in compliance with the regulations.
