HR Week West 2007 Announces Full Agenda

Silicon Valley's Biggest Human Resource Outsourcing and Management Event Covers Critical Workplace Issues
Human Resource Executive® Magazine and Conferences today announced the release of the full agenda for HR Week West(tm) 2007.  HR Week West(tm) will be held February 20 - 22, 2007 at the Hyatt Regency in Santa Clara, California.

HR Week West incorporates two conferences - HRO World(tm) and HR Management Solutions(tm) - that cover major HR issues and trends into one highly focused and strategic forum.  Conference co-sponsors include the Human Resources Outsourcing Association (HROA) and the Northern California Human Resources Association (NCHRA.)  Attendees have the option of registering for either conference or registering for an all-access Super Pass in order to participate in sessions from both events.

On Tuesday, February 20th, HR Week West commences with three pre-conference symposiums on lawful investigations, next-generation HR transformation, and diversity.  The keynote speakers opening the conferences on Wednesday, February 21st are Garry Mathiason, Esq., vice chair and senior shareholder, Littler Mendelson LLP, presenting on the topic of employment law, and Sharon Taylor, senior vice president, Corporate HR, Prudential Financial and president, HR Outsourcing Association speaking on the maturity of the HR outsourcing model. Richard Chang, Ph.D., CEO of Richard Chang Associates, Inc., and a leading authority on personal and organizational excellence, will deliver the final keynote address on "The HR Agenda for 2007... and Beyond" on Thursday, February 22nd.

A wide variety of concurrent educational sessions presented by HR professionals, subject matter experts and vendors, such as TalentKeepers, Deloitte and Touche LLP, Hewitt Associates, Kenexa, TALX, and ADP, run on Wednesday, February 21st and Thursday, February 22nd.  The exposition hall is open both days and is designed to further assist attendees through exposure to a number of benefits, incentives, HRO, legal, payroll, relocation, training and recruiting products and services.

Particularly noteworthy at HR Week West 2007 is a special California Labor Law Update, which will be held on Wednesday, February 21st.  Since employment-related lawsuits are the most common sources of litigation and liability, this three-session, one-day program is designed to help attendees learn how to shield their organizations from lawsuits.

Timothy J. McDonough, Director of HR Conference Programs for HRE Conferences, said, "HR Week West was designed in direct response to the feedback we've received from West Coast-based HR professionals. We're offering two outstanding events under one umbrella that deliver significant value to attendees.  Plus, we're able to offer HRCI recertification credit hours for both the HRO World and the HR Management Solutions(tm) conferences at HR Week West, which enables HR professionals to accelerate their PHR and SPHR certification."

Attendees registering before January 31, 2007 are entitled to the early-bird discount, which is particularly attractive for those individuals planning to purchase the Super Pass for both events.  For more information and to register for HR Week West, please visit www.hrweekwest.com or call 1-800-727-1227.
