The SAS 70 Type II process provides assurance that Hostway delivers fully secure, reliable, effective operating environments with the proper controls for conducting high availability IT and Internet operations.

The SAS 70 Type II audit requires detailed independent review and testing of operational controls and supporting processes and was performed by a major independent audit firm. SAS 70 was developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) for service providers who wish to demonstrate control effectiveness for customers and their independent auditors, and has become one of the most widely recognized auditing standards for service organizations.
