ROCHELLE PARK, N.J. (April 30, 2007) – HCR Software Solutions, developers of compensation and performance management applications that help organizations better align employee performance with overall business objectives, today announced that it successfully completed Series A funding to provide for accelerated business expansion.
The funding was led by James Alexandre, a private investor in London with a portfolio of early stage companies in a variety of technologically driven sectors. Alexandre was joined by other experienced early stage investors.
"The overwhelming response to our Series A offering allowed us to partner with investors that bring not only capital, but strategic insight and direction as well," said Mike Janis, HCR’s founder and CEO. "Our investors have great confidence in the HCR team and our unique, patent- pending approach to compensation and performance management technology.”
HCR Software Solutions will use this capital to scale the organization to meet growing demand for its popular applications. The funds will be used primarily to build its professional services and technology teams. “HCR is rapidly building an impressive client base for both our compensation and performance applications. Adding the right people to our growing team will enable us to provide the highest level of service to new clients and the existing clients that have been instrumental to our success,” said Janis.
Lead investor James Alexandre said, “We’re excited about HCR’s team and the success they’ve had with some of the market’s most demanding clients. The company is exceptionally well positioned in a market that’s growing very fast.”
