Halleland Lewis Nilan & Johnson Appoints Eric Durr as Associate Attorney

Durr¹s experience will augment firm¹s labor and employment, commercial litigation practice areas
MINNEAPOLIS (January 17, 2007) Innovative corporate law firm Halleland
Lewis Nilan & Johnson today announced that Eric Durr will rejoin the firm as
an attorney, effective immediately. Durr¹s background encompasses all
aspects of labor and employment law, including providing counsel in the
prevention of unlawful employment practices and defending employment
litigation suits. His commercial litigation expertise is similarly expansive
and includes representation of both private and public employers of various
sizes and industries.

³Eric¹s comprehensive knowledge of employment litigation matters, coupled
with his experience defending clients in state and federal courts
nationwide, makes him an exceptional addition to our highly-accomplished
labor and employment and commercial litigation practice groups,² said Brian
Johnson, president of Halleland Lewis Nilan & Johnson.  ³His experience
provides additional strength and legal insight to our corporate clients.
We¹re pleased he has made the decision to rejoin our firm.²

Immediately prior to joining Halleland, Durr acted as Deputy Chief
Compliance Officer and Senior Legal Counsel for U.S. Bancorp, the sixth
largest financial institution in the United States. In this capacity, he
directed legal and regulatory change monitoring, anti-money laundering
compliance and compliance training for corporation employees.  Durr also
supported U.S. Bancorp¹s wealth management and commercial banking areas for
all compliance functions. Serving as Assistant Attorney General for the
Office of the Missouri Attorney General, Durr represented the State in
employment and constitutional matters of national significance, including
Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) and the Americans
with Disabilities Act (ADA).

³Halleland¹s unparalleled client focus, along with its commitment to
providing superior legal services in a creative, team-oriented environment,
made my decision to return to the firm a natural one,² said Durr. ³My
interest in labor and employment and corporate litigation matters align
seamlessly with two key practice areas at Halleland, and I look forward to
continuing the firm¹s progressive approach to legal strategy in the years
ahead.²

Durr received his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri and
his juris doctorate from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1998,
where he belonged to the Order of the Coif.
