Twist encourages us to, "move toward thrift rather than accumulation; move toward appreciating what we love rather than being afraid of what we've lost; to focus on what we already have that's so valuable and nourishing to us."
She goes on to call for us to "stop clamoring for more of what we don't really need and take care of what we have - both in our own personal lives and on this planet for the sustainability of life itself."
Lynne believes that by doing so "we can get through this". She doesn't deny "the real pain and suffering people will experience as we go through this transformation." But she explains. "At the end of this we're all going to be in a truthful, more accurate, more integrous relationship with ourselves, with money and with the resources on the planet."
