The awards ceremony was held at the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, Arizona on Tuesday, October 2 in conjunction with the Fall 2007 Chief Learning Officer Symposium.
The prestigious CLO Learning In Practice Awards recognize those industry vendors and leaders who have demonstrated excellence in the design and delivery of workforce learning and development programs.
GeoLearning won the Gold Award for the on-demand GeoMaestro learning management system and training commerce platform it provides to an IT management software client. The system manages and handles financial transactions for online and instructor-led IT training that this client delivers to its customers around the world, processing multiple currencies and various domestic and international taxes. In the first three months of its inception, the system hosted 36,000 online training events and registered over 1,000 customers for instructor-led training classes globally.
