GeoLearning Opens Launch 2007 User & Partner Conference

Largest on-demand learning and talent management event features learning industry experts and best practice sessions in West Des Moines, Iowa June 11-12, 2007.
WEST DES MOINES, IOWA, June 11, 2007 -- GeoLearning, Inc., the leading provider of Managed Learning Services and hosted learning and performance platforms, officially kicked off its annual user and partner conference this morning. Launch 2007 (www.geolearning.com/Launch2007) is taking place June 11-12 in West Des Moines, IA at The West Des Moines Marriott Hotel.

The Keynote Addresses
Launch 2007 features two learning industry luminaries. Bob Danna, VP of Strategic Services for learning research and advisory firm Bersin & Associates, will present "The High Impact Learning Organization" on Day 1. This keynote will address exactly what it takes to be a "high impact learning organization," and help attendees uncover where they may be making the grade and where they may be falling short. The session will incorporate findings from 20 GeoLearning customers who registered early and completed Bersin's High Impact Learning Organizatin (HILO) Assessment. These organizations will also receive a personalized HILO Scorecard based on the results.

Norm Kamikow, editor-in-chief of Talent Management and Chief Learning Officer magazines, will kick off Day 2 with a presentation and discussion of the findings of the 2007 CLO Business Intelligence Industry Report. Norm will discuss the issues and trends crucial to every learning organization, including learning delivery methods, linkage of learning and performance management, learning and development investment portfolios, talent management and succession planning, and learning outsourcing.

Launch 2007 Curriculum
The curriculum for the 2-day event will feature interactive workshops and educational sessions from a wide variety of learning industry experts, as well as case studies and "how-to" sessions from GeoLearning customers. Sessions are designed to share strategies and best practices in the areas of learning and performance management, collaboration and blended learning, learning content development and management, and training measurement.
