Cabela´s will deploy the GeoMaestro solution to manage enterprise-wide learning and development for its 11,000 employees, with plans to support an expansion upward of 25,000.
Cabela´s, headquartered in Sidney, Nebraska, currently operates 14 retail locations across the United States and plans on opening 12 more by 2007. The company´s aggressive expansion plans necessitated a learning solution with the flexibility and scalability to grow rapidly. GeoLearning´s GeoMaestro will serve as the learning platform for Cabela´s to launch its Outfitter´s Sales Training initiative across the enterprise, as well as track regulatory compliance training for all employees. The system will also offer a wide variety of business skills and professional development courses, in addition to programs integrated from Western Nebraska Community College.
