Fred D. Gladney, an award-winning sales leader, has been named Vice President of Sales by Career Systems International (CSI).

In this newly created position Gladney will lead all aspects of CSI´s national and international sales efforts

Scranton, PA (April 3, 2006)---Fred D. Gladney, an award-winning sales leader, has been named Vice President of Sales by Career Systems International (CSI), a global provider of solutions focusing on employee engagement and retention, career development and mentoring for business and government.

In this newly created position Gladney will lead all aspects of CSI´s national and international sales efforts.  "The Vice President of Sales is a new position critical to CSI´s strategic success, responsible for identifying and implementing sales initiatives that are productive to both our clients and our sales team," said Ray Halagera, President and COO of CSI, in announcing Gladney´s appointment.

"We are fortunate to add an extremely well-qualified and balanced sales executive to our team. I know Fred will be instrumental in maximizing the value of our talent management solutions to our clients and enriching the contribution we all make as members of the Career Systems International organization," adds Halagera.

In a highly successful 30-year career, Gladney has held senior sales management positions with a number of leading high tech and training organizations, as well as sales management positions in Fortune 500 and smaller startup firms. His most recent positions were as Senior Vice President of Sales for North America at Development Dimensions International (DDI), and founder of Trinity Consulting, a sales consulting company. He was founder and CEO of CWG and Associates, a management consulting firm providing technical and software development services to Fortune 100 firms and public sector organizations. He also held senior positions with IBM, Compaq Computers, and Honeywell Corporation.

Gladney has served on several national and local boards of directors, on the Membership Committee of the City Club on Bunker Hill, and the Advisory Board of the Inglewood Philharmonic. He is founder of the National Association of Technical Assistance for Minority Business and a member of the National Urban League. He also is a marriage & family enrichment counselor/instructor and adult church school instructor.

Gladney completed a special IBM/Harvard University co-sponsored Executive Program, and did graduate work in Information Technology Systems at Duquesne University, Pittsburgh.  He is a graduate of California State University, California, PA.  He lives in Laguna Niguel, CA with his wife and four children.
