Sausalito, CA (PRWEB) November 2, 2006 -- HumanConcepts, makers of OrgPlus, the leading workforce modeling and intelligence solution, today announced that industry guru Jim Candler has joined their organization as Vice President of Customer Relations and Strategic Products.

Over the last 25 years, Jim Candler has proven himself to be an innovator in the HRIS industry. Jim spent 16 years with FedEx, completing his tenure as Vice President of Global HRIS and Payroll. Jim has also managed global implementations of very large ERP/HRMS systems, including the development of the Employee Portal for General Motors and DaimlerChrysler, which remains the world’s largest employee portal with several hundred thousand users.

Prior to joining HumanConcepts, Jim was Senior Human Capital Management (HCM) Strategist with Workday, an enterprise business services firm founded by Dave Duffield, who started PeopleSoft in 1987. While at Workday, Jim helped with the design of next-generation HCM products. At HumanConcepts Jim will be responsible for the quality and level of customer interactions, as well as product strategy and execution.

“Organizational information and workforce modeling continue to emerge as key components for HR and HRIS,” said Jim Candler regarding his decision to join HumanConcepts. “By providing new and flexible ways of viewing and maintaining information about organizations in all forms, we support HR’s move from a governance unit to a strategic business partner. The capabilities provided by HumanConcepts will help HR organize people in new ways to get work done more efficiently and effectively.”

“Jim is truly a pioneer,” said Martin Sacks, CEO at HumanConcepts. “He knows the HR space well and he understands the positive effect that good organizational information can have for our customers. To have a veteran such as Jim Candler join our team adds validity to our vision and the solutions we’re developing. These solutions meet the complex challenges that organizations face managing increasingly dynamic and distributed workforces.”

Jim Candler is also an award-wining author, speaker, and former national board member for the International Human Resource Information Management Association (IHRIM). Jim will be speaking about the future of organization management at key events throughout the country.
