ST. PETERSBURG, Florida, June 21, 2007—The Employer Services segment of First Advantage Corporation (NASDAQ: FADV) today announced the newest version of its First Advantage HMS talent acquisition and applicant tracking software. The new release adds powerful personalization options designed to improve recruiters’ and hiring managers’ ability to display the information they need about candidates at a glance. First Advantage HMS integrates all hiring-related services on a single platform, manages both hourly and salaried hiring and features extensive global capabilities.
Features in the new version of First Advantage HMS include:
> HMS Today now enables primary users to personalize and simplify the open requisition records displayed on their Start page. Users can now customize sort options, hide application statuses and interview/offer records or identify “hot” requisitions. These enhancements enable users to quickly and easily monitor the status of all requisitions at a glance, using the criteria important to them.
> Personalized Grid Pages enable users to develop individual pages to track candidates by name, assessment scores and any other criteria captured. Hiring managers search applicant files and can display and format the results on the fly, easing their ability to prioritize important information for each search.
The new version also includes a number of general enhancements that improve operability and usability in managing candidates, cross-posting jobs, background checking integration, interview scheduling and other administrative capabilities.
“The number-one challenge companies face relative to employees is finding the right talent when needed,” according to Kevin Martin, research director, human capital management at the Aberdeen Group. “To address this challenge, a top strategic action companies are pursuing or considering is to assess candidates for skills, attitudes or motivation early in the hiring process. And, according to our research, integration with other systems is a key factor that employers consider”.
“These enhancements deliver savings in the hiring manager’s most precious commodity – time,” said Rick Mansfield, executive vice president in First Advantage’s Employer Services segment. “This new version of First Advantage HMS enables them to display the information they need at a glance, and to format it in the way that works best for them, so that they can find the best candidate for the job quickly and easily.”
