Female Business Leader Announces Annual Award for Progressive Businesses

Do you work for a great organization? Do you feel valued at work? Female Business Leader Paula Marshall Wants to Reward You!
Tulsa, OK, March 31, 2010--Paula Marshall, CEO of the Bama Companies, recently released her new book, Finding the Soul of Big Business. In the spirit of her new release, Paula is presenting an award to the company she feels most embodies the philosophies laid out in her book. The winner will receive the honor of the award, as well as mentions on the Paula Marshall website, blog and social media sites. The employee who nominates the winning company will receive a copy of Finding the Soul of Big Business and an Apple iPad. All nominations must be sent in by the 15th of May.

The 2010 debut of the Paula Marshall People-Centered Organization Award will recognize companies that identify themselves, or can be identified, as ‘People-Centered.’ What is people centered? It includes companies who: structure their policies and culture around their employees, see fairness and balance as a priority, make cuts elsewhere instead of doing layoffs, value their employees as much as their customers and understand that when we all work together, success is inevitable.
