Sharon Taylor, Senior Vice President for HR at Prudential and the HROA’s outgoing Chairwoman said, “Ernie’s experience and close collaboration with the buying community in HRO will make him a great chair. I’m proud of our accomplishments during my past two years and have great hopes for the future of the HROA under Ernie’s leadership.”
Richard Crespin, Global Executive Director of HROA, said, “As an early adopter of HRO, Ernie knows first-hand how it positively transforms an organization. This experience has given him significant insights and credibility and, as such, he’s a well respected industry visionary. We’re looking forward to his contributions as the HROA’s third chairman. We will certainly benefit from his counsel.”
In his 34 years with DuPont, Lareau has held positions of increasing responsibility within manufacturing, technology, sales, marketing, strategic planning and general management. His career emphasis has consistently been on transformational opportunities in which he can utilize his broad-based managerial experience in the areas of strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, negotiations and implementation to create new, high-growth business opportunities for DuPont. A Georgia Tech graduate, Lareau holds a Mechanical Engineering degree.
With this announcement, the HROA shared that Glenn Davidson of EquaTerra will be stepping down as chair emeritus. Davidson will retain his seat on the board as co-chair of HROA’s public sector special interest group.
Crespin commented, “On behalf of the HROA, we’d like to thank Glenn for all his years of service and multiple continuing contributions to the Board and to the association. He has been instrumental in supporting the growth and success of the HROA.”
