Emportal today announced that Matthew Rice, a marketing and management executive with 20 years of experience, has joined the company as vice president of Product Operations. Rice will lead efforts in product management, product marketing and client service.
Mark Robinson, president and CEO of Emportal, welcomed Matt to the team, stating, “Emportal has shaken up the stagnant HRMS market with our fresh new approach that is squarely meeting the needs of customers. As we continue to add functionality to our core product offering, Matt will be an integral contributor to our roadmap. Rice’s previous professional experience includes being vice president of Emerging Products for Risk Management Solutions, Inc., a company that offers products and services for the management of catastrophe risk. Prior to that, he served as senior director of Marketing and Product Management at Audatex (formerly ADP Claims Services Group), a provider of insurance claims software and services. Rice has held product management, sales, marketing and consulting positions at Injury Sciences, LLC, Alta Analytics, and Computer Sciences Corporation. He holds a B.S. in management and marketing from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
