Dr. John Boudreau, Christine Cashen Keynoting IHRIM Conference

Human resources practitioners and information systems specialists from around the globe will be educated and entertained by two renowned speakers – John Boudreau, Ph.D. and Christine Cashen, M.A. – who will keynote the annual HRMStrategies 2009 Conference & Expo hosted by the International Association for Human Resources Information Management (IHRIM).

Human resources practitioners and information systems specialists from around the globe will be educated and entertained by two renowned speakers – John Boudreau, Ph.D. and Christine Cashen, M.A. – who will keynote the annual HRMStrategies 2009 Conference & Expo hosted by the International Association for Human Resources Information Management (IHRIM).

Held April 19-22 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, the conference’s opening address on Monday, Apr. 20, will be given by Boudreau, professor and research director at the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business.

Boudreau is recognized worldwide for his breakthrough research on the bridge between superior human capital, talent and sustainable competitive advantage. He consults and conducts executive development with companies worldwide that seek to maximize their employees' effectiveness by quantifying the strategic bottom-line impact of superior people and human capital strategies.

In addition to HR metrics, his large-scale research studies and highly focused qualitative research have addressed decision-based HR, executive mobility, HR information systems and organizational staffing and development.

Christine Cashen, a humorous authority on sparking innovative ideas to handle conflict, reduce stress and energize employees, will keynote the Apr. 21 luncheon. She has been featured as a creativity expert in HOW Designs at Work magazine and is a co-author of the book Mission Possible, Volume Eight. She has also developed the A Dynamic Speaker series of learning resources:  Get What You Want with What You’ve Got DVD, Why Can’t Everybody Just Get Along CD and Got Humor video.

Before hitting the speaking scene, Cashen was a university admissions officer, corporate trainer and broadcaster. She earned a bachelor’s degree in communication and a master’s in adult education.
