Atlanta, GA March 1, 2006... The Disability Management Employer Coalition (DMEC) announces its spring 2006 management education series entitled "Leadership Insights in Health and Productivity: Disability and Absence Management Trends, Analytics, and Experiences". The series is offered as a half day educational seminar for Human Resource, Disability, and Absence Professionals in five cities: New York City, NY (April 11); Columbus (Bellville), Ohio (April 13); Minneapolis, MN (April 18); San Francisco CA (May 9); and Long Beach CA (May10).
This important series will introduce new research, state-of-the-art strategies, and first hand experiences to manage workplace disability and return-to-work programs. Series presenters include:
- Presley Reed, MD, one of the world´s experts in workplace disability management, will discuss the impact disability management programs have on employee productivity.
- Karen Trumbull English, Spring Consulting Group, will discuss current employer and vendor benchmarking research on Integrated Disability Absence and Health Management.
The Management Series Program will also introduce metrics for health and productivity management, utilization of return to work guidelines, and a select group of employers will present their experiences and strategies for health and productivity management.
