Diagnostic Services of Manitoba has selected QHR Software Inc. to streamline its human resources, payroll and staff scheduling, including the implementation of the self-service module called QHRnet.
Kelowna, BC (PRWEB) July 18, 2007 -- Diagnostic Services of Manitoba (DSM) has selected QHR Software Inc. (QHR) to streamline its human resources, payroll and staff scheduling, including the implementation of the self-service module called QHRnet. DSM will utilize QHR's flagship software, Quadrant HR, to better manage the growing complexity of its 1,300-member workforce.

DSM is a relatively new, not-for-profit corporation responsible for all of Manitoba's public laboratory services and for rural diagnostic imaging services. Based on direction by the government of Manitoba, DSM positions public laboratory services to meet the challenges of growing demand for services and expectations for high quality, as well as greater standardization in an environment of limited resources.

Quadrant HR will replace DSM's current service-bureau payroll application, as well as several paper-based Human Resources processes. Quadrant HR will provide significant value through the reduction in annual operational expenses, while building an effective and efficient stream of workflows for this geographically diverse organization.

DSM has moved towards its vision of being a centrally managed diagnostic service provider through the transition of all management and non-union staff throughout the province to DSM, as well as all Winnipeg-based laboratory staff. The next stage of DSM's implementation involves the transition of laboratory and diagnostic imaging staff in rural and northern Manitoba, as well as the merger with Westman Regional Lab. Once this stage is complete, DSM will have approximately 1,300 staff located at 77 sites across the province.
