Sacramento, CA - CPS Human Resource Services announced the opening of ten centers that will provide an array of Testing, Training, and other HR-related services to government, public and nonprofit agencies and others throughout California. Known as the CPS California Centers, each facility will offer CPS clients quiet spaces for their candidates to take paper-pencil or computer-based tests, classroom style rooms to host training and seminars as well as meeting space for candidate interviews, assessment centers and department meetings.
"These new CPS California Centers will provide clients with the flexibility to schedule employment, licensing and certification tests, training and seminar sessions at times and locations most convenient for their employees and applicants," said Kate Hill, CPS senior manager responsible for operation of the new California Centers.
The ten new center locations are: Anaheim, Colton, Fresno, Glendale, Oakland, Redding, Santa Clara, San Diego, Santa Maria, and West Sacramento.
The Centers have convenient and easy freeway and parking access. In addition, all sites are equipped with dedicated telecommunications systems for secure and high-speed delivery of computer-based tests.
CPS will also use the facilities for their successful training programs and seminars. "The new locations are extremely convenient to our clients and may result in reduced travel costs for employees enrolling in CPS HR training courses," said Mel Turner, CPS Training Center manager.
The new centers are an added benefit to help clients reduce costs, increase efficiencies, provide a more standardized, secure testing environment and better serve their employees and applicants.
