Convergys Names Willard S. Smith as Recruiting and Resourcing Global Practice Leader

CINCINNATI (August 20, 2007) –

WHO:           Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG), a global leader in providing customer care, human resources, and billing services

WHAT:         Has named Willard (Will) S. Smith as Recruiting and Resourcing Global Practice Leader.  In this capacity, Smith oversees Convergys Employee Care engagements for the North American, EMEA, Asia Pacific, and Latin American markets.  His responsibilities include ownership of the recruiting deliverable, including marketing, processes and operations. 

DETAILS:    Smith joined Convergys from ACS, where he was a global solution architect.  Before that, he served as the director of Operations and director of Solution Design for recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) engagements at Spherion, where he led standardization initiatives related to process and delivery.  Earlier in his career, he was a consultant focused on business process engineering and HR management, and worked for Learning Tree International in the outsourced learning industry.  

A graduate of Florida State University, he holds a bachelor of science degree in Economics and Geography.  Smith is based in Atlanta.
