DETAILS:        During the Training Growth Strategies Conference in Cary, N.C., Marianne Langlois was recognized as one of the “20 Most Influential Training Professionals” in 2007. The winners of the new award, established by Training Industry, Inc., were nominated and selected by their peers for their contribution to the growth and development of the industry.

Langlois is responsible for Convergys’ global Learning Solutions business, which has more than 300 learning professionals and more than 500 clients. With more than 20 years of experience, Langlois has led successful transformations of businesses to drive superior business results for customers and shareholders. Langlois has a Project Management Professional certification, is a member of the Project Management Institute, American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) and International Society of Performance Improvement (ISPI). She received a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Cincinnati.

Langlois currently is leading the introduction of Convergys’ Learning Diagnostic solution. With large companies spending $30-$50 million per year on decentralized corporate training programs, Convergys’ Learning Diagnostic can achieve corporate learning objectives at 20-50% lower cost.
