(Singapore; September 15, 2006) - Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG), a global leader in providing customer care, human resources, and billing services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Stanley Jeremiah as Vice President, Benefits, for its Employee Care business in the Asia Pacific region. Mr. Jeremiah will be based in Singapore at Convergys´ regional headquarters, and his appointment is effective immediately.
In this position, Mr. Jeremiah will be responsible for overseeing and growing the benefits operations of Convergys´ Employee Care business in the region.
Mr. Jeremiah has a long history of involvement with the insurance, financial services, and legal industries in Singapore and he has held several positions with insurers and intermediaries in Singapore, Canada, and Hong Kong. At present, he is also acting as the external counsel and advisor on a broad range of issues to the insurance and financial services industry in Singapore.
Before joining Convergys, Mr. Jeremiah´s most recent post was with NTUC Income as general manager for its Life Insurance division, where he was responsible for its life and health insurance business.

As required by law, Stanley's appointment is subject to approval by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
