WHAT: Has named Karen Bowman to General Counsel and Secretary of Convergys, John Gibson as president of Employee Care Business, Alex Berry to senior vice president of Employee Care Client Services. Management changes became effective Sept. 1st.
DETAILS: This management and organizational realignment supports Convergys’ commitment to customer satisfaction and proactive talent management by giving these executives further opportunities to demonstrate their proven leadership skills in new roles within Convergys.
Karen Bowman is the new General Counsel and Secretary of Convergys. In her previous positions, Bowman served as president of Employee Care and General Counsel to the Convergys’ Customer Management Group. Before joining Convergys, Bowman was in private practice for over six years focused on complex business reorganizations. She also served as a law clerk for the United States Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit, in Los Angeles, California.
John Gibson has become President of Employee Care Business. In his previous positions within Convergys, Gibson has served as global program executive for Client Services, and senior vice president of Global Operations in Employee Care. Prior to joining Convergys, he has held executive positions with EPIX Holding Corporation, an HR outsourcing services company and Ameritech.
Alex Berry was promoted to the role of Senior Vice President of Employee Care Client Services. Berry previously held positions as vice president of World Wide Sales for Employee Care, vice president of Sales for Convergys’ Communications, Automotive, and Technology Group. Before joining Convergys, Berry led regional sales efforts for Lucent Worldwide Services.
