2007--Ultimate Software (Nasdaq:ULTI), a leading provider of

solutions, announced today that Lillian Vernon Corp., a 56-year-old,
multichannel retailer, is "live" on Ultimate Software's UltiPro
through its software-as-a-service delivery model, Intersourcing.

    Lillian Vernon previously used separate service bureaus for
payroll and human resources, including an in-house solution for
managing human resources, and two additional platforms for recruitment
and benefits functions. With more than 3,000 employees during Lillian
Vernon's busiest season, the retailer wanted a more integrated and
scalable solution with Web-based self-service. After an extensive
review process, the retailer selected core UltiPro, delivered through
Intersourcing, along with UltiPro Recruitment in March 2007. Lillian
Vernon rolled out online Benefits Open Enrollment to all its employees
in June.

bureau. Information was then manually consolidated, so by the time the
reports were assembled, the information was usually outdated and often
not synchronized. UltiPro ships with point-in-time reports and
hundreds of analytical and compliance reports that are easily
customized.

working for Lillian Vernon are able to submit applications on line
that are moved through the hiring process electronically with data
stored in a single location. Once hired, candidates are moved into
UltiPro automatically, without data entry.
