that Kettering Health Network (KHN), a leading medical provider in the
Midwest with 6,930 employees, selected Ultimate Software's core
UltiPro, UltiPro Performance Management, and UltiPro Recruitment in
June 2007.
Featuring over 50 facilities, including two major medical center
hospitals, three other hospitals, and a college of medical arts, KHN
had been using a mainframe solution to manage human resources and
payroll, while handling its recruitment and performance management
manually. After more than doubling the size of its workforce in the
last 10 years, the healthcare services organization had outgrown its
previous solutions. It began looking for an integrated human resource
management system (HRMS), one that included a talent acquisition
feature set, to streamline its employee management processes. KHN
chose UltiPro and went "live" on UltiPro Recruitment in September
after an eight-week implementation.
