Convergys Appoints Stanley Jeremiah Managing Director and Vice President of Operations

(Singapore; October 10, 2007) - Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG), a global leader in providing customer care, human resources, and billing services, announces the appointment of Stanley Jeremiah as Managing Director and Vice President in the Asia Pacific region.  Additionally, Jeremiah continues his responsibilities as the Global Benefit Solutions leader for Employee Care.

With this appointment, Jeremiah now is responsible for managing Convergys’ payroll and benefits operations in the Asia Pacific region. Jeremiah reports to Christine Timmins Barry, senior vice president of Global Operations for Employee Care, and he is located in Singapore.

“Payroll and benefits administration to regional clients is an important component in our Employee Care services portfolio, and Stanley’s appointment is a critical factor in our plans to continue growing our business in Asia,” said Barry. “Stanley is a seasoned and experienced senior executive, and he is also a well-known and respected figure in the insurance and legal circles in Singapore. Before joining Convergys, Jeremiah served as general manager of the Life Insurance division for NTUC Income in Singapore and was managing director of Goodwins Law Corporation, also in Singapore.

Jeremiah holds both bachelor’s and masters degrees in Law from London University. He is a qualified Barrister at Law in England and Wales and an Advocate and Solicitor in Singapore. In addition, Jeremiah is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK) and a Chartered Insurer and a Solicitor of the Supreme Court (England & Wales).

He is the immediate past president of the Singapore Insurance Institute and is a Council member of the institute. He also sits on the Editorial Board of the Singapore Law Gazette. Previously, Jeremiah has served as president of the Society of Financial Service Professionals (Singapore Chapter) and president of the Insurance Law Association Singapore.
