COMCAST-SPECTACOR NAMES LANE MILLER VICE PRESIDENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES

Comcast-Spectacor, the Philadelphia-based sports and entertainment firm, named Lane Miller as the company’s new Vice President of Human Resources.
(PHILADELPHIA, PA - July 2, 2007) - Comcast-Spectacor, the Philadelphia-based sports and entertainment firm, named Lane Miller as the company’s new Vice President of Human Resources. She was most recently Director of Human Resources for Global Spectrum, the public assembly management subsidiary of Comcast-Spectacor.

Prior to joining Comcast-Spectacor in 2004, Miller was Chief Operating Officer of Mei Fa/Shaune Bazner Accessories, Inc. in Washington, DC, since September 2000. She also served as a Regional Director for Borders Books and Music from September 1991 until 2000.

"Lane has a solid foundation in operations and marketing and in every position she has held, she has built a strong company culture, employee accountability and commitment at all levels," said Comcast-Spectacor President Peter Luukko. "I am confident Lane will continue to grow our human resources functions to meet the needs of all of our Comcast-Spectacor entities."

Miller is the architect of a newly created comprehensive development program designed to prepare new Assistant General Managers and General Managers for new positions within the company and its subsidiaries.

She received a B.A. Degree in Journalism from the University of Colorado.

Miller is very active in her community serving with the Business Volunteers for the Arts; MANNA; and as a former board member of the Women’s Resource Center.
