Client Feedback and Technology at the Heart of iVantage 4.0

Before the development of iVantage 4.0 began, Spectrum Human Resource Systems' team spoke directly with many clients to hear their feedback on how to improve the system. All that Spectrum heard are things that have been directly incorporated into the iVantage 4.0 human resource information system, which is now available.

Denver, CO (PRWEB) November 8, 2006 -- When you ask, you will receive. This is the philosophy behind Spectrum Human Resource Systems Corp.’s latest human resource information system (HRIS) release, iVantage® 4.0.

Before the development of iVantage 4.0 began, Spectrum’s team spoke directly with many clients to hear their feedback on how to improve the system. All that Spectrum heard are things that have been directly incorporated into the iVantage 4.0 human resource information system, which is now available.

“We really care about what our clients need,” comments Sybll Romley, president and CEO of Spectrum. “They are the true visionaries of human resources, and we want our systems to best fit their needs. The best way of extracting their thoughts is to ask them directly. We take every thought and opinion into consideration and develop our human resource system (iVantage) with the end user in mind.”

Clients that opt to use iVantage 4.0 have access to new metric-style reports, a redesigned OLAP analysis feature, Business Objects™ XI reporting technology and a new user interface. With this release, Spectrum is able to offer the industry a solution for both Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and Microsoft SQL Server 2005 — a driving factor for many businesses today.

The new metric reports are for the end user who needs to delve deeper into workforce analytics. The metric reports include the ability to determine departmental turnover based on performance rating, headcount by nationality, and total compensation increases -- to name a few.

The updated OLAP analysis feature includes several pre-populated cubes that allow the end user to further drill down into their human capital data to find answers. The reports can be generated for either text or graphical format.

Many users should appreciate the reporting tools of Business Objects XI. This technology allows users to modify existing Ad Hoc Reports directly in the system.

The most noticeable change is the user interface that allows users to customize their personal homepage to display dashboard-style reports. Version 4.0 gives the HRIS a modern look and feel, and allows users to select a unique color scheme based on personal preferences.
