NEW YORK: May 21, 2009 -- Chad Hueffmeier has joined Buck Consultants as a Principal in the firm's New York office.

Hueffmeier joins Buck from Morgan Stanley Investment Management where he served as Executive Director of Global Portfolio Solutions. His expertise includes defined benefit plan investments, pension and corporate finance, asset liability management, and risk management solutions for pension plans.

Hueffmeier received his bachelor’s degree from Mayville University (St. Louis, MO). He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, an Enrolled Actuary, a Chartered Financial Analyst, and serves on the American Academy of Actuaries/Society of Actuaries Joint Task Force on Pension Finance. He also is an author and frequent speaker on pension and retirement issues.
