Hollywood, FL (PRWEB) June 12, 2007 -- Censeo Corporation has been chosen to present two workshops at the 36th Annual Society of Pharmaceutical and Biotech Trainers (SPBT) 2007 Conference being held June 18-21 at the Westin Diplomat Resort in Hollywood, Florida.
As part of the Curriculum Design and Delivery track, Censeo Vice President/Co-founder Jim Higgins will lead a session titled "Increasing the Quality of Your Knowledge Tests: A Practical ‘Short Course’ for Test Authors," with co-presenters Michelle O’Connor of CMR Institute and Mike Capaldi of Sanofi-Aventis.
"You’d be hard-pressed to find an industry that tests its workforce more than the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Since testing is so commonplace, you might assume that the quality of tests being delivered is high, but this is often not the case," commented Mr. Higgins. "During the test authoring session, Michelle O’Connor will share her expertise in curriculum design and how it relates to assessment. Mike Capaldi will share several of the challenges Sanofi-Aventis faced in the test development process, and how they are actively improving the process today."
Mr. Higgins will also present "Creating a Comprehensive Assessment and Development Program: Demystifying the Process," as part of the Director/Senior Executive track.
"During this session, I will outline a practical, best-practice approach to creating a comprehensive assessment program, from inception through implementation and follow-up," stated Mr. Higgins. "From an employee’s point of view, a sound assessment process ensures that their development is focused on the things that matter most to them -- things that will help them do their jobs better and faster, possibly opening the door to greater rewards and faster advancement. From an organization’s perspective, a more strategic approach means cost savings and productivity gains," he explained.
Censeo will also be exhibiting at SPBT 2007 and can be found in booth #509 on the show floor.
