Danbury, CONN., March 22, 2006 - Cendant Mobility, soon to be known as CARTUS Corporation, the premier provider of mobility management, outsourcing, consulting, intercultural and language training serving the corporate, government and affinity markets, today announced a series of 2005 milestones and accomplishments reflecting its commitment to providing industry leading mobility solutions for clients and their employees worldwide.
"Our 50-year tradition of service and worldwide industry leadership continues, soon with a new identity, as Cartus," said Kevin Kelleher, president and CEO of Cendant Mobility. Referring to the upcoming name change, he stressed, "It´s a new beginning, one that promises new opportunities that stem from the confidence our clients and customers have in our ability to meet their needs."
Key Cendant Mobility milestones for 2005 included major initiatives in the areas of global growth, technology, and product development. In the short space of one year, Cendant Mobility:
ø Welcomed a record number of 266 new clients, while expanding services for 229 existing clients.
ø Expanded its global footprint, opening a new office in Shanghai while also expanding office space in the United States in Dallas, as well as in Danbury, Conn., the home of its global headquarters.
ø Continued to drive revolutionary improvements in global program management through ATLAS, Cendant Mobility´s web-based case management system, which integrates policy, financial and supplier information for single-source, up to the minute data, tracking and reporting.
ø Played a leading role in supporting the Government Relocation Advisory Board, an industry group that developed more than 100 recommendations for the U.S. Government Services Administration to improve relocation programs for government agencies.
ø Continued to lead in the areas of privacy protection and compliance, maintaining TruSecure ® certification, which Cendant Mobility has held since 2002, confirming its effective management of information security risk and established Safe Harbor certification, assuring European Union organizations that Cendant Mobility meets their privacy protection directive.
