Danbury, Conn., October 13, 2006 - Cartus, the premier provider of global mobility management and workforce development solutions serving the corporate, government and affinity markets, today announced that Peter Wayman, executive vice president, account management received Worldwide ERC ®´s most prestigious honor, the President´s Award. Worldwide ERC (formerly known as the Employee Relocation Council) is the association for professionals who oversee, manage, or support U.S. domestic and international employee transfer.
Bradford E. Charnas, president of Worldwide ERC ®, presented Wayman with the award at the Worldwide ERC ® Global Workforce Symposium which took place in Dallas, Texas, on Oct. 12. Wayman, who co-chaired the 2005 Worldwide ERC ® Procurement Task Force, was recognized with the group he led for noteworthy contributions in the development of the publication entitled, "Process Flow for Procuring & Maintaining Mobility Services".

Earlier this year, Wayman was inducted into the Worldwide ERC ® Hall of Leaders. In its history, the ERC has honored only 32 of its 12,000 members with inclusion in the Hall of Leaders. The honor is given to members with uniquely distinguished careers who have made noteworthy, lifelong contributions to the ERC and the relocation industry.
Wayman attended his first ERC conference in 1978. His contributions include having voluntarily served for three years as an ERC board member in the rolls of secretary/treasurer and finance committee member. He is also a founding platinum member of the ERC Coalition Board and the membership growth and fund raising committees. He currently co-chairs the ERC Procurement Taskforce.
