NEW YORK (April 6, 2007)--CareerJournal.com, The Wall Street Journal’s executive career site, and Lucas Group today announced that they are holding an Executive Diversity Career Fair sponsored by UBS on Thursday, April 19 at the Embassy Suites Hotel Downtown in Chicago.
The Executive Diversity Career Fair is designed to assist companies in meeting their executive, managerial and professional diversity-hiring goals. This free event also will feature seminars on strategic career management and other topics, a careers Q&A and free resume critiques.
“Demand for senior-level diversity candidates is very strong across many industries—ranging from marketing and sales to law and general management,” said Jon Housman, v.p. of Dow Jones who oversees the company’s career publishing efforts. “The Wall Street Journal continues to facilitate interactions between top companies and top diversity candidates.”
Participating companies include: Accenture, Blue Cross, Chase Paymentech, Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Con Agra, Eaton Corporation, Exelon Corporation, Fitch Ratings, General Electric, Harris Bank N.A. / BMO Financial Services, Illinois Tool Work Inc., Morgan Stanley, NAVTEQ, Schneider Electric, Smith Barney, Target, The Timken Company, UBS, Unitrin Inc., W.W. Grainger, and Zurich North American Insurance. Pre-registration for the fair is not required.
All attendees, who must bring multiple copies of their resume, can register on site the day of the event.
