Chesterfield, MO (PRWEB) March 8, 2010 -- Business Training Library is pleased to announce the release of its most recent Learning Management System upgrade, CompanyCollege 10.0. The system improvement provides participants and administrators with a variety of new system features and functions to enhance the overall user experience.
Notable feature upgrades are:
Home Page: The most recent version of the Home Page has been enhanced with new profile icons. By replacing the Profile, Help and Logout links with new icons, the Home Page received a fresh, clean look that allows users to have a concise snapshot of their learning activities and results within one page.
Catalog Page: The My Catalog Page has been reformatted from the original cascading layout, to a much more user-friendly layout. By placing the Resource Groups at the top of the page, participants can view and select courses more quickly. Also added to the My Catalog button, is the inclusion of a View By Date button for classroom courses, which allows participants to see offline classroom courses by viewing a calendar and sequential listing.
Learning Page: Learning activities listed on the Learning Page can now be filtered by type of activity, as well as media type. By categorizing the type of activities and listing them at the top of the Learning Page, participants can search and find the appropriate assigned activity within its correct category.
Certification Module: The Certification Module, a feature section, has been improved to create a more streamlined administrative process. This system improvement allows administrators to set up participants and implement a certification program more quickly.
Administrator Improvements: New improvements have been made to enhance the Administrators experience with LMS 10.0. Several highlights include: the addition of the Follow-Up-Activities Page where Administrators can effortlessly assign follow-up activities to participants, with immediate and direct messaging capabilities on the Messaging Page.
“Performance enrichments were a major focus for this release.” said Les Wight, Chief Technology Officer at Business Training Library. “Every function of the LMS is faster in response to users. Resource assignments were one of the biggest areas of improvement.”
