Boston University Corporate Education Center Named to TEDS Consortium

The TEDS Consortium acts as a dynamic forum dedicated to the continuous innovation and improvement of TEDS Workforce Effectiveness solutions.

Atkins, VA-March 28, 2006    TEDS, Inc., originator of the integrated single-platform Workforce Effectiveness Solution and a global leader in human capital development, announced today that the Boston University Corporate Education Center (BUCEC) has been admitted to the TEDS Consortium.

The TEDS Consortium acts as a dynamic forum dedicated to the continuous innovation and improvement of TEDS Workforce Effectiveness solutions. It plays an essential role in reviewing and upgrading product functionalities, recommending the creation of new Workforce Effectiveness products and services, and accelerating product development through TEDS Fast Track solutions. Founded in 1992 and meeting twice yearly, the TEDS Consortium is the only organization of its kind.

The Boston University Corporate Education Center is a leader in developing and delivering corporate project management seminar and certificate programs as well as training and services in business process management, business analysis and leadership.  Through BUCEC´s project management programs and services, it enables key decision-makers in world-class companies to meet project management challenges within their organization through rigorous, hands-on skills evaluation, training and certification.  A Global Registered Education Provider and charter member of the Project Management Institute ® (PMI ®), BUCEC is the only university on the PMI ® Corporate Council.  BUCEC´s project management skills assessment process enables its corporate clients to identify project management skill gaps within their companies and then develop an informed and proactive training plan.

"BUCEC´s membership in the Consortium is very important to our corporate education objectives," notes John Bonanno, CEO of BUCEC. "The TEDS platform provides BUCEC with broad capability to continue expanding its services to clients through training management outsourcing services, skills assessments and competency models. We look forward to our participation in the TEDS Consortium and the opportunity to share ideas and strategies on how we can further advance the TEDS platform."

By agreement of TEDS Consortium members attending the group´s twice-yearly meeting in February, BUCEC will now be a full participant in this innovative partnership of human capital experts who are leaders in their respective industry sectors. Members of the TEDS Consortium include DaimlerChrysler North America, Dominion Resources, Eastman Chemical, Norfolk Southern, Nortel, Sandia National Laboratories, Steelcase, Verizon and TEDS.

"The Boston University Corporate Education Center´s achievements in corporate learning make the company an ideal addition to the TEDS Consortium," comments Joseph F. Ellis, Jr., President and CEO of TEDS. "The organization´s extensive experience in project management will bring a rich perspective to discussions within the TEDS Consortium. On behalf of the entire membership, we welcome BUCEC to our unique collaborative environment."
