Bond International Software Breaks New Ground with the Launch of Global Midrange Applicant Tracking System

Best-of-Breed "StarSearcher" ATS to be Sold Through Microsoft´s Global Partner Network

BOSTON (July 12, 2006) - Global staffing-software leader Bond International Software today announced the launch of a second-generation applicant tracking system (ATS) aimed at companies with 50 to 2,500 employees.

Called StarSearcher (www.StarSearcherATS.com), the best-of-breed system is the first ATS aimed specifically at Microsoft´s midrange clients, the first to handle both salaried and hourly workers in a single database, and the first to be offered through Microsoft´s Global Partner Channel, at whose Boston conference it was unveiled today.

"StarSearcher levels the playing field, allowing midrange companies to compete for talent on an equal basis with big corporations," says StarSearcher president and CEO Tim Giehll. "They don´t have to be second-class citizens anymore, because they´ll have the same recruiting technology that global giants have been using."

Bond products already dominate the global staffing markets with 70,000 users in 42 countries and 9 of the top 10 global staffing and recruiting firms. The company has combined the best of their global technologies to create StarSearcher, which offers more functionality for less money than any other ATS on the market. That´s why it was chosen by Microsoft to be offered through its partner channel, which is the largest indirect sales channel in the world, with more than 350,000 members.

StarSearcher automates the entire Human Capital Supply Chain hiring process, from the creation and management of requisitions, to the sourcing of candidates, to the screening of resumes, to the job offer. Its powerful UltraMATCH technology instantaneously searches tens of thousands of resumes or applications to find the top candidates for the position, based on parameters selected by the user.

"Unfortunately, many midrange companies still keep resumes in file cabinets," says Giehll. "By completely automating a process that has been manually oriented, and making it paperless, StarSearcher will boost the efficiency of those human-resource departments and hiring managers by an order of magnitude."

This is especially important now, says Giehll, because as the economy heats up and baby-boomers continue to retire in record numbers, good candidates will become harder to find. "It´s becoming a candidate´s market, which makes it an issue of speed: companies that find the candidates first will get the best talent," he says.

"This is the fourth great wave of software automation. Accounting was automated in the 1970s, manufacturing in the 1980s with ERP, sales and marketing in the 1990s with CRM, and now it´s human resources."
