Beyond Excellence

Site for Recent College Grads Job Search Wins Design and Usability Award
KANSAS CITY, Mo., (June 21, 2010) — Beyond Credentials announced today that its website, www.beyondcredentials.com, has been awarded Outstanding Achievement in Website Development by the Interactive Media Awards™. The award is for excellence in the employment category.

Beyond Credentials worked with Denver based Sub4Solutions to develop the website under the direction of owner Keith Baltus.

“We’ve created an exclusive network where top college grads and great companies meet.” said Andy O’Dower, co-founder of Beyond Credentials. “Our website is intuitive, functional and pleasing to use. This award speaks very highly to the work the Sub4 team did for us.”

The criteria for judging included design, usability, innovation in technical features, standards compliance and content. In order to win this award level, www.beyondcredentials.com had to meet strict guidelines in each area - an achievement only a fraction of sites in the IMA competition earn each quarter. The honor recognizes that the project met and surpassed the basic standards of excellence that comprise the web’s most professional work.

About Beyond Credentials
Andy O’Dower and Kevin Melgaard founded Beyond Credentials when they saw the need for a members only network and community of Generation Y (born 1980-2000) job seekers and companies targeting these candidates for internships and careers. Beyond Credentials is currently helping recent graduates promote their personal brand, network more effectively and improve their after college job search in Kansas City, Chicago, Denver and St. Louis.

The Beyond Credentials website (www.BeyondCredentials.com) serves as an exclusive web community where only qualified job seekers (students or alumni from the top 250 universities in the United States with a current or graduating 3.0+ grade point average) and qualified employers (evaluated by community standing, brand recognition, marketplace penetration and quality of employment opportunities) can join and connect through interactive candidate profiles and company employment branding profiles. Many college grads seeking a career utilize their profile over a resume to get interviews for jobs and internships after college.
