COLUMBIA, MD-Berkshire Associates Inc., a leading human resources company specializing in affirmative action, salary equity, and diversity services and software, announces today that the company will be moving to a newly renovated, 25,000 square foot space in order to better accommodate expanding service demands.
Increasing organizational growth and anticipated business expansion sparked the need to re-locate to a larger space. The new space, purchased in June of 2006, is located approximately four miles from the existing location, and houses a new training and product development center. Berkshire will move from Route 108, to 8924 McGaw Court, Columbia, MD in December of 2006.
"The new building is central to Berkshire's growth strategy, which includes hiring key personnel to meet increasing market needs. As human resources and affirmative action demands continue to evolve, it is imperative that we extend our product and service line to give our clients the resources they need," says Founder and President, Dawn S. Hyde.
Another step in Berkshire's growth strategy is to continue extending its services beyond affirmative action. To signify this expansion, the company is changing its current Web address from
www.berkshire-aap.com to
www.berkshireassociates.com. The Web address change will take effect on January 1, 2007.
To ensure minimal service disruption and inconvenience to clients, Berkshire will officially be closed on Friday December 15, 2006 and Monday, December 18, 2006. Business is expected to resume on Tuesday, December 19, 2006.
