RALEIGH, N.C., May 22, 2008 - Workplace Options (WPO), the largest provider of work-life employee benefits in America, today announced the launch of Advantage 2.0, a new work-life Web resource that incorporates interactive programs, greater flexibility and ease of content customization.
Advantage 2.0 is a completely redesigned Web portal for employee assistance (EAP) companies and their client companies to deliver interactive work-life and EAP resources to employees. Built on a robust online platform, the site incorporates access routes to consultants such as Live Connect, WPO's pioneering instant messaging feature where employees can receive one-on-one, confidential assistance in areas such as child care, elder care or everyday issues.
In addition, companies can customize content to fit their specifications and add information to make the site unique to them. The new architecture expands the established customization features beyond look and feel to allow for complete redesign and positioning of all site features.
Other Advantage 2.0 features include:
* 150 new categories of information and resources and a new division devoted to Aging, which joins the divisions of Parenting, Working, Balancing, Living and Thriving
* An International section for employees considering working or living abroad
* An enhanced search feature that provides full text retrieval of all content
* Enhancement to the dependent care locators that allows for searches between two points such as a commuter route and directions from any spot to a provider location
* Back-up care locators to easily identify providers for use in an emergency or when regular care plans fail
Spanish language and United Kingdom Advantage 2.0 Web site versions are also available.
