NEW ENGLAND ORGAN BANK EXPANDS RELATIONSHIP WITH KNOWLEDGE FACTOR TO ENSURE EMPLOYEES’ MASTERY OF CARDIO TISSUE SCREENING AND PROCUREMENT PROCESSES
NOVEMBER 2, 2006 (Denver, CO) – Knowledge Factor, the leader in Confidence-Based Learning and performance mastery, today announced that it has expanded its relationship with New England Organ Bank (NEOB) to build a training program to validate that employees have 100 percent mastery when it comes to understanding the process and procedures related to the screening and procurement for heart and pericardium tissue recovery. The program utilizes Knowledge Factor’s patented Confidence-Based Learning process to remediate confidently-held misinformation that can lead to serious mistakes.

“In pericardium and heart tissue recovery, swift and accurate action saves lives,” said Diana Buck, Director of Tissue Operations of New England Organ Bank. “Knowledge Factor’s CBL System™ is the best way we’ve found to educate our employees with complete confidence and measurable results.”

The launch of the Heart and Pericardium Tissue Recovery program follows on the heels of NEOB and Knowledge Factor’s successful introduction of a mastery program on the process and procedures around Tissue Donor Eligibility. This new program, funded by LifeNet and CryoLife®, Inc. (NYSE: CRY), will be available to all NEOB, LifeNet and CryoLife employees and partners in February.

Knowledge Factor’s entire focus is delivering mastery to its clients. The company’s patented CBL System™ is designed to accurately measure the knowledge quality of professionals, isolating confidently-held misinformation and doubt, and quickly and effectively remediating knowledge and confidence gaps until professionals have total mastery of their discipline. By doing so, the CBL System reduces the risk of mistakes, significantly reduces training time, and produces professionals who can put correct, confidently-held knowledge into action.
