Employers´ sexual/non-harassment policy make supervisors responsible for monitoring their workplace and for stopping/preventing harassment they see.  Yet, few employers teach their supervisors practical skills to meet that responsibility, especially when no one has complained.
That often results in:
1)subtle harassment situations escalating into hostile work environments
2)increased liability for the supervisor and his/her employer
3)greater harm to harassed employees and the career of the harasser

This interactive workshop will demonstrate how to use a blended training approach, i.e., eLearning, DVD training module and instructor-led, to teach supervisors effective intervention skills - that is, stopping behavior prohibited by policy that they see, even when no one has complained. Learn valuable tools at this session that you can apply directly to your workplace and use to evaluate your current training methodology.

Presenter, Stephen Anderson, President of Anderson-davis, Inc., has delivered this skill building training activity to tens of thousands of supervisors.  His training has been featured on ABC 20/20 and Oprah.  Last June, Stephen was selected to train the California Fair Employment and Housing Commission's (FEHC) Commissioners.  In July, he was appointed to the FEHC's Blue Ribbon Advisory Committee responsible for drafting, and reviewing language for
AB 1825, that mandates two hours of sexual harassment training for supervisors.
