NEW YORK: July 24, 2007 -- Al Phelps has joined Buck Consultants' Chicago office as Principal.
Phelps joins Buck from Mercer Human Resources Consulting, where he had served in its Chicago and Mexico City offices. His expertise includes global benefits plan design, valuations, mergers, acquisitions, and compliance issues.
Phelps is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries, an Enrolled Actuary, and a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
