WCDM is the premier annual event that addresses issues common to all aspects of disaster management. The conference program includes speakers from many parts of the world and provides excellent opportunities for learning and networking among those in the fields of Emergency Planning/Management, Business Continuity, Emergency Response, Risk Management, IT Disaster Recovery, Disaster Management Research, Emergency Communications, Emergency Health, Security, HR, Environmental, Community Planning, as well as for the organizations which supply and service these professions. The 2008 Conference is expected to attract over 1,800 attendees from Canada, the United States, and from around the globe.

A major goal of the 18th WCDM is to offer a program that challenges delegates by examining traditional concepts and methods, and provides:

In addition to highlighting your presentation skills in front on an international audience, this is a chance to share your knowledge with your peers.
Presentation abstracts must be submitted by December 2, 2007.
