Roseland, NJ - February 6, 2006 - ADP ® Retirement Services, part of the Employer Services division, a leading provider of integrated outsourced payroll and human resources services, today announced that it was awarded 15 "Best in Class" awards in PLANSPONSOR magazine's annual Defined Contribution (DC) Survey, which measures plan sponsors' satisfaction with their providers' participant and sponsor services.
ADP Retirement Services is one of the largest record-keepers of retirement plans in the nation, providing administrative services to more than 30,000 plans and 1.3 million plan participants across multiple market segments. Since 1989, the company has been offering its clients objective investment portfolios with no proprietary fund requirements, service and operational excellence, and progressive technology. Its participant experience is aimed at motivating employees to enroll in the plan and educating them to manage their retirement goals.
ADP Retirement Services earned 15 "Best In Class" honors in two market classifications. Five awards were received in the market classification that included defined contribution plans with assets under $5MM, while 10 of the awards were in the market classification that included plans with assets of $5MM to $49MM. As in last year's survey, respondents gave ADP high scores for the timeliness of its reporting, and its participant Internet services. ADP also was praised for clear and accurate account statements and fair fees.
"At ADP, we believe that providing outstanding retirement services is about value for cost and the client experience," said Kendall Kay, Vice President, Marketing, Strategic Planning & Business Development, ADP Retirement Services. "Our Associates offer a new kind of retirement experience - one that eases the administrative and fiduciary burdens of our clients and helps them manage their retirement. We are honored to receive such favorable recognition again this year from our clients."
A number of those participating in the survey credited ADP with having an excellent record of responsiveness. According to one of ADP's clients, who participated in the survey, "Client service is the real winner at ADP. This plan operates very smoothly because of the support I receive."
Survey ratings were determined by PLANSPONSOR magazine based on questionnaires completed by DC plan sponsors. Client satisfaction results were segmented for each provider based on four separate market classifications: less than $5 million in DC assets; $5 million-$49 million; $50 million-$199 million; and, more than $200 million. "Best in Class" awards were given to those providers with top quartile scores in each service category within each asset size. Respondent comments were also taken into consideration when determining status.
