Workscape Announces Record First Quarter Results; Sales Up 50% Over Same Quarter Last Year

Leading Provider of Outsourced Benefits Administration and Compensation Management Solutions Reports New Clients, Renewals and Successful Implementations
MARLBOROUGH, Mass. (May 1, 2007) - Workscape, a proven provider of outsourced benefits, compensation and performance management solutions, today announced its first quarter 2007 results, which included new client agreements, renewals and successful implementations. For the quarter ending March 31, 2007, Workscape’s sales were up 50% over the same quarter in 2006, which had also been a record-breaking quarter for the company as well.

Workscape helps companies manage two of their largest expenditures: employee benefits and workforce compensation. Multi-national market leaders across a wide variety of market sectors, including financial services, manufacturing, consumer goods, professional services and healthcare, have embraced the company’s award-winning solutions.

During the first quarter of 2007, Workscape welcomed many new compensation management clients including one of the world’s largest financial services providers and the Canadian unit of a global network of professional firms that provides audit, tax, and advisory services, which replaced an existing solution with Workscape’s Compensation Planner product. These companies join other organizations that have selected Workscape, including JohnsonDiversey for outsourced benefits administration.

Existing clients Tyco International, Cadbury Schweppes and one of North America’s largest packaged food companies have expanded their relationships with Workscape. Tyco has increased its outsourced benefits administration. The packaged food company is expanding its usage of Workscape Compensation Planner internationally and Cadbury Schweppes is leveraging the same offering to support the compensation management requirements of their Latin American-based employees, in addition to their North American and U.K. based workforce. Another Workscape client - a world leader in mobile communications - upgraded to the hosted version of Workscape Compensation Planner.

Renewing their outsourced benefits administration services contracts with Workscape were existing clients PPL and Pilkington. Successful first-quarter implementations and upgrades included Saint Barnabas Health Care System, which launched Workscape’s outsourced benefits administration to its employees; Autodesk, a long-standing outsourced benefits administration client that expanded its relationship with Workscape to implement Compensation Planner in 47 countries; Union Bank of California, another long-term client that also launched Workscape Compensation Planner 6.0; and, Textron, which implemented Compensation Planner to managers who plan compensation actions for employees in 24 countries using 3 languages and 18 currencies. Also during the first quarter of 2007, one of Workscape’s financial institution clients utilized the company’s “rapid-response” platform to support immediate yet originally unplanned merger activity when their employee population expanded from 12,000 to 31,000.

In commenting on his company’s recent rollout of Workscape’s Compensation Planner, Jon Fliss, Director, Executive Rewards of Textron, said, “Responsive and knowledgeable, Workscape’s team of technology and compensation experts have become an integral part of our success. As a result, our employees’ response to Workscape’s Compensation Planner exceeded our expectations.”

Tim Clifford, Workscape’s President and CEO, shared, “I’m proud to share the details of our first quarter results. Both new and existing clients are providing strong validation of the value Workscape brings to their business; they can rely on us to deliver industry-leading on demand software products as well as a flexible, employee-focused BPO platform. We are the only provider focused in this manner on benefits, compensation and performance management solutions. Exceeding our previous first quarter sales record by such a wide margin reflects the unique value of Workscape’s offering in the market right now.”
